So it’s not just the low-end W205 Walkman phone, Sony Ericsson is announcing today. The Swedish-Japanese handset maker also unveiled the S312, a low-end camera phone, part of the company’s Snapshot series.

The new device packs a 2 megapixel camera with 2.5 digital zoom, illuminated camera shortcuts, dedicated video camera key, and picture blogging app. There’s also a media player, TrackID, Bluetooth connectivity support, 2-inch 176×220 pixels screen, 15MB of internal memory that is further expandable with Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. Size wise, the Sony Ericsson S312 measures 100×46x12.5 mm and weighs only 80 grams. It will go one sale in selected markets from Q2 2009, when interested buyers will be able to grab it in either “Dawn Blue” or “Honey Silver.”

Along with the new Snapshot phone, the same release also talks about Clip-on Bluetooth Handsfree VH300. The neat looking headset supports one touch call handling, easy volume control, and also comes with “ultra discreet reversible clip-on.” Its battery can sustain the device working for up to 10 hours in talk or up to 250 hours in standby mode. The Clip-on Bluetooth Handsfree VH300 will be available in selected markets from Q3 2009.
